How can I adjust the length of Windows Sound Recorder?

Right now, the default duration is 60 seconds. Please help! It's for school. Thanks!

It is Windows XP and the default duration is apparently 60 seconds.

This problem has been around since the days of Windows 3.x. Look into audacity if you can. For soundrec I have a link for you.
