i will try the suggestions given on my last question...thanks for that guys..
but does anyone know any food/desert recipes i could maybe use this revolting tasting vanilla powder with?

You could, but you should only use a very cheap whey protein for this. Whey protein isolates are the more expensive variety and are designed to be very quickly absorbed. But isolates are not heat stable, so if they get warm they break down. But the cheap varieties should be as safe as powdered milk to cook with.

Whey is just the protein from milk, with all the fat and sugars removed. So it is a safe product. I'm not sure what the other person was talking about in regards to FDA approval. Whey is just like powdered milk in terms of safety.

It really is gross tasting, eh? I'm sure you could add it into some recipe you have, but I doubt that it would help to escape the flavour. My suggestion is to buy some flavourless whey powder and make smoothies with fruit and yogurt so that you can hardly taste the protein powder.

Add a scoop to your instant oatmeal, you will need to add more milk to keep it from getting too thick.
