Being financialy secure is a big part of having a child, yet you must want the child for the right reasons - and then so long as its loved does it really matter what brand of clothing its wearing!! Walmart or Prada - who can tell anyway!!

If you wait for the right time you'll never have a child. Being financially stable is a good idea. Make sure that you are in a happy marriage/relationship as having a baby only adds strain at first. Being prepared to give unconditional love to someone that is completely and totally dependent on you for everything is a must.

In terms of finances, there never will be a "right time" to have kids. There will always be other financial responsibilities that crop up (care repairs, house repairs, etc) but why let that prohibit your from having a baby. To be honest, I didn't find having a newborn to be a big financial burden. I was gifted most things I needed right away (most women are who have a shower). Diapers/wipes are somewhat costly, but it will not break the bank. Now that my son is 2, there is definitely more costs involved like clothing and preschool, but you make sacrifices. For instance, we no longer go away for our anniversary for the weekend like we used to, we just go out to dinner. I cook almost every meal at home. Being a parent means sacrifices and you do what you can to support your family.

alot of people think theres a right time and not a right time for having a first child. we had our son when it wasnt really right. as long as it is something that you value and something that you want then the not so right time will be a right time. no ones really prepared for having kids but when you have your first child, trust me, you will be ready! we are not "financially secure" but that doesnt mean its not the right time. as long as there is love in the family, that will be the "RIGHT TIME"
good luck with your decision

Hi, the answer to your question all depends on what time the child had his/her afternoon nap. if the child woke up at 3ishpm then its almost supper time and after supper a nice relaxing bath and a bottle would make the child sleep better for the night....congrats by the way...
