Purdue is her dream school, she would LOVE to go there. However, we need scholarships! If anyone knows of any good scholarships, that would be great. She wants to major in engineering.

Congratulations to your sister on getting into Purdue University! There are several wonderful places to search for scholarships without it costing a single penny.

First, FAFSA.ed.gov will help tap into federal and university need based financial aid. She will need to apply for this in January or early February.

Second, her high school guidance office will have a list of local scholarships available to its high school students.

Third, Purdue University's financial aid website has a list of scholarships, and the engineering program has a list, too.

Finally, there are free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. It is always good to join more than one website because sometimes a scholarship maybe listed on one website but not another.

Good luck!

Check out www.fastweb.com and scholarships.com. Also, talk to her high school guidance counselor, who should have books and information sources available.
