Tell a teacher r a counsler at school. They will get the police involved but they will be more likely to watch out for your well being and care more then just any cop.

I'd wait until I got to school, tell the principal and counselor.
then I'd request to either use the phone or a payphone and yes, I'd call the cops and also the local Dss office.
Back then when i was your age if I had had the guts to do that when the abuse first started I wouldn't have had to go through all that i went through.
Seriously try and do those things, in the long run, you'll be happy you did.
And calling the cops will NOT make things worse. they are there to soley protect you, and if your mom goes after you again. RUN to a neighbors house and call them again, only this time you will have PROOF and then if they didnt get her the first time around they sure as hell will the second.
being adopted is tough, since she adopted you she shhould be treating you right. Those who either adopt or foster kids and are abusive to them should be banned from doing so

You should talk with an adult you can trust. Tell them what is going on. Yes, I think you should talk with social services or the police. At least, there will be an investigation. And, please, do NOT take this the wrong way. IF, you make false allegations, it can cause a lot of trouble for everyone involved--including you. But, if you are truly being locked in closets or in the basement or for that matter, any where, YES, talk to someone. Tell social services go to the police. And, if they don't believe you, keep talking.

That's a serious question there. First talk with an adult you can confide in about the situation. Having someone who isn't involved in things viewpoint and observations will be a great help to you. Then try talking with your parents---the key here is --WITH--not at. Then ask if you all can maybe get some outside help from a minister or counseler. Whatever is happening it sounds like you can use talking with one to sort things out.

Go to your local Childen's Aid Society right now! Call the police and tell them what is going on. Your Mom is wrong to treat you this way! Go now...make a call to your local police or to the Children's Aid Society. There are people on call 24 hours a day to help children in need. I wish you all the best kiddo!

You get help
Dont call the police because they only make it worse. They will put you in foster home or go to your house look around and if they think everything they will leave you alone and then your mom will beat you more.
Do you have a dad or a best friend that you could live with???
Even a adult at your school that you trust and can tell and even stay with???
E mail me please and i know a society that is secret and help kids get out of there houses and they go around and stay in baned houses. They can help you but no one knows about them and the only reason i know is my mom gives them food and clothes. Please email me i can help
GOD BLESS YOU

Call the police, call children and family services, call child welfare, all of the above. The police will put you in contact with the children services agency. Good luck and God bless

Of course you need to call the police. You have the right to be protected from that kind of abuse.
