I used to hate getting dragged for haircuts after school as barber always cut it too short for my liking ( mum liked it ) recently friends in pub all had stories to tell i was amazed . Any stories id love to hear how old were you? who cut it ect? and what style did you get. Good luck hope it doesnt bring back bad memories for you though.

When I was 11 we got off the bus and did not go left towards the hairdressers and I heaved a big sigh of relief till we crossed the road, turned a corner and there was another hairdresser I had forgotten about.

The hairdresser sat me in the chair, pushed the elastic band holding my waist length pony tail down an inch and cut above it. I cried all of the way home and my hair has never grown that long ever again.

Dear Shave and a Hair Cut, 2 bits, I always get bad hair cuts or at least most of the time I do. I will ask just ONE question, like how are you, or how bout them Jets and the nexts thing I know is, my 1/4 inch off the top is now a lot more off and Im being swung around in a chair being asked, well, how do you like it? ITS HORRIBLE I think but would not want to hurt anyones feelings. I reply,"ITs wonderful, and thank you for the great job" In my car, I reason with myself that it will grow back in time so dont sweat it. My favorite hair cut of all time was the scene on Andy Griffith when Floyd cut Andys hair and something happened and Andy didnt get a hair cut.

I cut my own, aged 6. With those plastic safety scissors. Mom had been promising to cut my fringe (bangs?) for ages and didn't get round to it. I wasn't exactly coordinated, and cut it on a total slant - around 2/3 cm difference in length from one end to the other!
I got dragged to the hairdresser for damage control, and since it was the 1980s, (and there really wasn't a lot she could do!) I ended up with a stepped fringe - she actually cut it MORE diagonal and put in steps! I tried to wear a hat to school, but ddn't get away with it. The tragic thing is, some people thought it was cool!

When i was 15 and my boyfriend was 22 he let me cut his hair because i was bored !!

Big mistake! I started to chop the back, layered the top and then cut the sides above the ears of course i had to keep leveling it up as the more i cut off one side i had to trim the other side to match.

Well he started off with shoulder length locks and ended up having to go to the barbers afterwards to get a short back and sides

well funny but we got married and stayed married for twenty two years but sadly no longer together

My Mum left me at the hair dressers whilst she did her shopping. I was very young and was going to be a bridesmaid and Mum asked for my long blond hair to be trimmed, washed and curled. She came back 2 hours later to find me sitting with perm rollers in - the hairdresser had forgotten me and I think I must have been the first white person ever to have an Afro - this was in 1947 and nothing my Mum could do would get a comb through it!!

When I was twelve I had a Farah Fawcett majors...but then the boys called me concorde....cos when the wind blew my huge side flicks lifted up.

When I was thirteen I had a Cilla Black.....and the boys called me football head or crash helmet.

Then I had a Mia Farah...and got callled a Lesbian.

So this month I went to have my long locks cut again, I explained how I wanted it...shortish...choppy..get out of bed etc...

Then I said to the Hairdresser..so if I want this cut again what should I ask for...she said oooommmm A Sharon Osborne.

Great....

my story takes me back to the age of 11/12 when my mom decided i needed a haircut, may i say that my mother has NEVER EVER cut any ones hair before, she still decided i was getting one and she was going to practice. I was only 11 or 12 and had no other choice in the matter. she cut and cut and cut, never even my hair was horrible i had to go to school the next day, screaming and crying. When school was done she took me to a hair salon to get it fixed,I NEVER GOT OVER THAT,it was embarrassing to go to school that way and what is worse....she did it a few other times too, just because i was the oldest, cause it never happened to my sisters!!!!!

each and every damn time i choose for a haircut. next time, i will ask for a "trim" and much less (emphasis on the not greater). that is like a sort of completely ordinary nightmares. i'm a guy and that i locate long hair appealing (on me and on different adult adult males-i like to clutter around with it) and plus short hair makes you seem previous. I wanna seem 20 while i'm 40, not any opposite direction around. nicely i'm 19, so I wanna seem around that age...you get the element. i think of this time that is slightly lopsided. the two that or that is turning out to be decrease back humorous. i'm getting it decrease, I finally end up hating it, and that i spend the subsequent 5 months heading off the mirror and turning out to be it decrease back, only to have it ensue returned.

I was 12 or 13. My parents made me go to some butthole's birthday party, so I needed a haircut. I asked the lady at the haircuttery for a high and tight. She cut it so uneven I looked like I was wearing a beret until I got it cut again. What's more, when I asked her to even it out, she said it already was even.

How about this one, Its 1970 Im 20 its Friday night, i came home from work got washed and dressed ready to go out, i foned my mate to see if he was free to go out for a few beers,he said he was just in from work and had to get himself ready and would not be long. So i sat on the setee to wait for him, he was taking ages.
To let you understand the next part, I have 5 sisters, and at that time i had hair that a girl would be proud of and a beard that matched it, But my sisters hated me that way,so while my mate was getting ready i fell asleep on the setee. When i got up again they had back comed my hairand had a good go at shaving my beard. I looked like the Golly on the Robertsons Jam add and with about 5 little patches of hair on my chin. Obvously i had to go to the barber to have things fixed. Once bitten twice shy, iv had short hair ever since.( nice one Eh!! )
