I'm not the greatest in the kitchen but I really want to make him a romantic meal with candles, etc. Any suggestions at all for a desperate little love-sick girl? :) I appreciate it!

Don't do it...Let him propose to you. Make your romantic dinner and enjoy your evening, but leave the proposing to him. Men like to do the pursuing, and let's face it, we women like to know that our man really loves and wants us. I would seriously advise you to leave the pursuing up to him. They love the challenge...it's what makes them men, and we love to be chased, it makes us feel appreciated, loved and secure. I wish you'd think about it.I am 41, and have been married for 14 years, I would tell my daughter the same thing as I just told you.

I agree with Cynthia B. who said NOT to propose to him and wait for him to propose to you. I know it's the equality issue and women are supposed to have the same rights as men, but some things shouldn't be tampered with. Or maybe, because CB and I are both 'older', we just believe that men are the pursuers and women like to be pursued. We do feel more appreciated when someone actually tells us how much they love us and want to spend the rest of their lives with us. And, to tell you the truth, I wonder how many men would feel trapped if a woman asked....... Hmmmm....... If you feel totally secure that he'll say 'yes', go for the romantic evening ...... Good luck.

you should think ok when u go out what do they have ? and it can't be something that u will have to watch and take up alot of time b/c ui have to get the room/table ready for this big date and don't forget u need time to make yourslef look good and all too..

so i would say
a salad-(kind in a bag that u can add extras)
maybe like a fish/seafood dinner if u 2 like that
-exp..crab cakes, shrimp,(can even make cocktails with a fancey glas with them hanging out)and have hot onces as well on the plate al ready for him to drop in,stuffed clams, clams, and so on there is alot u can do with it and make your onw lil things alof of stores now a day have sutff that u can get stuff dun (price chopper steams everything so u can do your other shopping in the sotre for you saides to go with it )

-Stank is kimda fast and u can pick out the size u think is good and price and add about 2 sides with a baked patao or somethign like that..

-pasta is also a good dish ..

well that is what i think of when i hear a romantic night..you can even get some shrip and have them with the stake have the salad as will but bring it out in a big bowl like oliv garden?~ that would be cool..~

Good Luck ~~<3

decoration is the most important..trow rose petals on the floor ..lit lots of candles..and keep it healthy with the dinner..as you wont be happy if bought of you get stuck with full stomach and hardly breathing after the main course..for me the best is the desert and the most important..make or get a lovely chocolate cake and over the sweet talk and chocolate..you can do it..he will be already in the heaven as the man's love go trough their stomach...:) good luck

Make sure you have lots of candles. Make sure its noting that will give you smelly breath. Lay choclate mints on the table. Cook italian that always works. No garlic bread. Have the radio set to play a nice romatic song probably Celin Dion (because you love me) perfect song.

Cook something that the both of you love. If it isn't easy, order it in. It's all in the presentation anyway! I'm sure you're gonna do fine! Congradulations honey!

Try ordering out from a nice resturant and putting it in your own dishes. You have enough to worry about tonight....
