I hope you are seeing a gastroenterologist for the hepatitis. Doctors will tell you that the liver does not cause feelings of pain because there are few nerve endings in it, but the sac surrounding the liver will cause pain when inflammation is causing it to stretch. You should have a liver biopsy and /or ultrasound to see how much scarring has occured as a result of the virus. Best wishes to you.

Problems with the organs in the abdominal region i.e. the digestive system, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, appendix and kidney could be the main reasons for a bad stomach ache. Gastroenteritis can give you a severe stomach ache, while stomach pain from cancer may only be mild. I found a lot of great information on causes of stomach pain and its treatment at http://tinyurl.com/l9k9x

you should find a dr. that is willing to do some tests to find out what it is. i had a cyst that was in an abnormal place and it took two drs to get it diagnosed. only because i suggested that one do an ultrasound there. find one that will do an ultrasound or x-ray or use a tube down your digestive system to see the problem. also be careful of what you eat. if you notice that you get the pains after eating certain foods it could be gas or something.

Ouch! Been there, done that. Could be a few things. First, could be gallbladder trouble. Or it could be colitis or crohn's disease. The latter seems more plausible. I have crohn's and have those symptoms quite often. See a doctor and ask to see a specialist if you don't get any answers. Hope this helps!

Sounds like your liver because of the area and your history. Have you seen a specialist? Many GI doctors are also liver specialists. Good luck
