So far 12th grade has been the hardest. Why? because you have to do all the homework and assignments your teachers have given you, apply for colleges, take the standardized tests, community service, extra curricular activites and anything else that will help you get in to college. It's a tough first half of the year...i also think it depends on the school. My school gives tons of hw and still expect you to perform at school events and fundraise and stuff, but other schools might not give as much work to the students. It's all a matter of perspective...

Either freshman or senior year of college. Freshman you have got homework on an entirely different level than ever before, a ton of new distractions and no one to force you to study, being away from home, a fair number of adult responsibilities and little/no money. Senior year of college you have all of your capstone work which determines whether you get the degree and graduate, plus looking for a job and facing the prospect of the real world.

Honestly, I think freshman year in high school is the toughest. It is a big shock to go from junior high to high school and many teens have trouble adjusting in that first year. I know I did. My grades slipped a bit, but I got back on track in my sophmore year.

Freshmen Year in college, is simply the worse, away from family and friends, mean professor, do the laundry, make time to study, bad influences, crazy people, freshman 15 pounds, get used to eat the cafteria food, live with you geeky roomate...and the list goes on... too many changes in such as short time..... Just insane!!!

8th grade. Because that is the grade that prepares you for high school. The teachers pile homework because they want you to be prepared for high school.
