Maps are not only useful but also very helpful, .
Maps can help us in following ways:
Find distances between places.
Help us drive in strange areas, or even strange city or county or countries.
We can find the elevation of the place.
We can find the depth of the ocean in various places.
We can play games with it.
People travel by boat using the map of the ocean current, even to day ships stay with the current to travel at few knots faster and save on fuel.
Air plain do the same pick up jet steams and ride them.

I can find all cities around me from my maps. I never feel lonely if I have maps with me.So Maps are my true friends.
