The puppies are Cavalier King Charles Spaniel purebreds, and on's male, one's female. If you have any tips on crate training, obedience training, or even just day-to-day life, anything would help before we pick them up on Thursday when they're 8 weeks old.

Crate training is easy. Make sure u use the same phrase when u tell them to get into their crate. I tell mine to get in their box and they know what it means. Don't use the crate for discipline if u do they will think they are in trouble when ever u leave. Give them a toy for their crates. When u let them out take them directly out side and praise them for going outside.
Use their name every time u talk to them so they get used to hearing it and learn it. Puppies are lots of fun but its like having a baby sometimes so be ready for it. Good luck.

WATCH CESAR MILAN, THE DOG WHISPERER. FIRST, MAKE SURE (NO MATTER HOW CUTE THEY ARE) THAT YOU (PEOPLE) ARE IN CHARGE FROM THE FIRST SECOND. EVEN AT 8 WEEKS, YOU ENTER A ROOM BEFORE THEY DO. TREAT THEM AS GUESTS THAT HAVE TO BE INVITED IN. DON'T LET THEM ON FURNITURE THAT YOU DON'T WANT THEM ON. CRATE TRAIN FROM THE VERY FIRST. THEY'LL LIKE HAVING A "CAVE" THEY CAN FEEL SAFE IN, AS LONG AS THEY'RE TOGETHER.
