the muffin tray is brand new, one of the muffins came out and it was 'wet' at the bottom, so maybe i need to bake it longer?

You have to let them cool for about 20 minutes.

Grease the cups of the muffin pan, or line them with paper muffin cups. Unless your oven is old and gets hotter, than the set temperature (I've had ovens that did) bake at the temp in the recipe for the maximum time given in it. Now, try baking the next pan at the least amount of time. Now, the next pan, some amount of time in between the two. Which pan of them came out the best?

if you grease your pan, use a little flour -- but, you would be better off using pam spray and then you would not have to use the flour. let them cool entirely, use a knife and gently go around the muffin, it comes out easier by doing this. also, the paper muffin sheets do wonders - no mess and no spray. just pull paper sheet out of muffin tray when the muffins cool off. good luck and i hope they taste really GOOD.

let them cool a bit and then try and work them out with a fork. yes they will break a bit but fork is better than a knife cause its curved.

next time use muffin paper. You can also use parchment paper. just dip it in water so it holds the shape of the muffin tray.

Or maybe all the non-stick coating has worn off your pan (happend to mine) and you need a new one

confident muffin cups are stable . Use a non-stick spray after which flour them. even once you bake a cake it says grease and flour the pan. desire I helped. maximum suitable way is to in easy terms turn the pan over and enable them to fall out onto a some thing like that.

I will give you a trick to baking....when you want it not to stick. first grease the pan then sprinkle the dry batter on the grease or use flower. this rule applies to all baking.
