about pets: are cats and dogs colorblind?

people say animals are colorblind, so is this true or false?

Having never owned a dog, I don't know if they are.

I've heard that cats can not see red, pink or orange. My cats like green and blue toys but won't play with red ones.

rather, canines see in colour nevertheless they see slightly in a diverse way in the colour. case in point, they might see bright pink as easy pink. Sight isn't the main mandatory experience for canines nevertheless. They remember on their scent. To all those people who suggested canines are colorblind, do your learn!

yes they are but they see like watching black and white TV. when they look at a TV they see nothing but a screen of dots which makes up the picture. We see three dimensional they see two dimensional
