Spooky - THANK YOU for sharing this forward with others.

I'm so please so far to read the wonderful posts under here and Spooky's link. Some excellent suggestions in different ways we can share and indeed, it doesn't always have to be money or physical gifts. I'm excited to vote; however, want to leave this open for a while to see what other comments we can share.

See you in a while - Happy Sunday!

What should be shared is help to those who need it, those who are suffering. Volunteering your time is always good, people can see that you truly care. Money to the less fortunate... Donating food to those who are starving. Sharing shouldn't always be feelings...but if you're talking about feelings then i guess God, love, patience, understanding are all important to share.
I give and try to help the less fortunate because it makes me feel better and God will reward me one day... hopefully.
Unfortunately today everyone is preoccupied by how much money they ll make and where they'll go on vacation and what brand of clothes they are wearing. I supose i get that way too sometimes even though i try hard not too.
Sorry i kind of got of subject...

I try to share whatever I can, sometimes, it is some advice, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and understand, or an offering of a meal when hungry. I dont have much to share except myself, but I do share what I can. My motivation for giving and sharing isn't intentional, but i do want to see people happy, and successfull in life. I feel that if I help those who are need now, when I need help in the future, I will have the support I need. (karma). It is in my nature to be giving (to an extent).

I think tithe institute said it perfectly. Hope, love, compassion, time, understanding....one's heart and soul. That is what I try to share.

I do this because in sharing these things, I find I get them back in return. If I didn't share *me* with anyone else, then I would never have the opportunity to get to know the beauty of another.

I hope that makes sense, and I hope it helps.

EDIT: Natty, your question was lost in the shuffle. Tithe Institute (directly above me) pointed it out to me. I decided that such a good question needed to be reposted. I provided a link, and directed people over here.

Some answerers posted on my question. Here is the link so that you may go over and see the results.

I'm going to bring some of the answers over here via copy/paste, but feel free to visit my question also. Some may post there, and I may end up not getting them over to you.

Thanks.

ADDED: Natty, these are the copy/paste answers.

From Sree:
truly i am not so good at sharing, i dont readily share what is others, and i dont share mine with others. as the site is for faith , must say i dont even like to share knowledge of my faith unless i have a good reason. however as the world needs some knowledge of every faith, to get over the problems i do share it sometimes.

From Justmetoo:
We share because we want to and we have so much more than those that don't, so that is why we share

From Aniya:

I do not pull up Nets that I do not know---never know what might be lurking there.

I give because I like to help. Also, I do believe that for every cent I give, it will come back to me, (by money or blessing) because I did share.

Added note: The Jewish community in America is asking for donations to send to Darfur. These people there need so much, and have so little, and are so mistreated. If you can share-------------. You can find information on several sites on the Net.

Natty, I'm sorry that your question was buried so quickly. It happens sometimes. I hope these answers help.

Added: It's not often we get a great question in here. It would have been a shame to lose yours, and I was quite happy to repost it. It was a pleasure, and I will most definately cast my vote at some point.

Best to you, Natty.

EDIT: I would prefer not being considered for best answer. Tithe Institute would have reposted this question, but a computer glitch prevented him from doing so. I hope that he is given credit for passing this idea on to me.

I share all I can - because I'm teaching my son to be a man. Teaching by example, not just words. I give time, muscle, material because I can. I want to because I feel I am here tro help as many as I can. Being involved with your community is very important. The less you know of the people in your community the more you fear your neighbors.

Spiritual knowledge. The law of Karma(reap what you sow) increases my chances of acquiring understanding about God if by sharing what I know about Him. Spiritual knowledge is everything. It makes a person to be compassionate, to understand love and the purpose of life. It drives someone to be kind, tame, tolerant, forgiving, and all the good virtues to be godly.

I am still seeking.

God bless.

Anything that the Lord would have me share or give.It is through the move of the Holy Spirit or seeing someone have need and I have the means to help.If I don't have the means to help then I pray God sends them someone that can.

Aww thats sweet ^^

Giving hmm?

I like sharing my time, my energy, my resources with people I love. Its the best way to prove my affection for them.

Last but not least, I like sharing my life. Without it I doubt we could be happy, appreciate the good things we have in life and be thankful for the things we arent afflicted with.

I've been thinking about your question. I share myself, not really worldly positions, but knowledge. I want to because, it makes me feel better and I in turn, hope other people feel the same.
At Christmas, my family, packs box after box to send overseas, to nameless faces. In hopes it might help them feel alittle bit better about where they are. This costs alot of $$ but, boy do I feel great, when that last final box leaves.

Whatever I have that someone else needs. I don't have much, but I've been blessed with a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food on the table.

If someone needs any of the above, they can feel free to ask of me.

"Inasmuch as ye have done to the least of these, my bretheren, so have ye done to me also."
