He will probably appear as an adult. If he appears in the USA, he will be whisked off to a secret place by the security people and subjected to years of interrogation and attempted barinwashing. His presence will be kept a secret or denied, but he will be protected by the heavenly hosts and will escape unscathed.
He will appear at random all over the world to talk to the humble people and bring them consolation, love, and hope. Gradually, people all over the world will gather to follow him. He will not be sacrificed this time.
His greatest enemies, apart from governments, will be the established churches because they will not like to hear that they have been wrong about so many things.

Actually, the world as we know it wouldn't be the same. Think of all the influence Jesus has had on the world today. Even if you aren't a Christian...I can't imagine what the world would be like if He hadn't come.

it's rather hypothetical cuz a number of prophesies would indicate the Messiah coming around 31AD. Daniels weeks of years from the time of the restoration of Jerusalem being amain one.

tougher time?... probably not... the toughest thing about the spread of the gospel is the heart of man and the amazing grace of God got that one covered

the same way it happened a couple thousand years ago

and people who dont like, or maybe I should say dont appriciate being chastised or having their heart(concious) convicted will be the ones that crucify Him. Becuase the truth, the real truth will cause people to really look at themselves the way God sees them;which is miserable, blind, and naked.

Have you ever seen the film, "Being There?" I think the answer to your question is within that story.
