wallow today, get stuff done tomorrow, ive suffered with depression since i was 21 (im 30 now), and im only just begining to know how to handle my "bad" days, i say get yourself some chocolate, watch a chick flick, and have a good cry, then in the morning get out of bed, smile and do all the stuff you couldnt bring yourself to do the day before..seriously though talking to someone does help...ive been seeing a councellor for about 6 months and its starting to help...about bloody time i say lol.....

I also suffer from depression.
It is ok to wallow for a while but only if it is constructive wallowing ie thinking things through.
We all have bad days and they are ten times worse if you are depressed.
Good to hear you are getting councelling also.
Good luck with everything!

As for the boyfriend pulling away let him. Focus on number one. And as for your depression tell your self hey "this too shall pass" stick at it with the councilling you,ll be ok ,be positive and you,ll not feel blue tell yourself hey " i,m a worthwhile person", and take each day as it comes.negative thinking is for losers so no its not ok to wallow,. get a grip be positive.

I agree....wallowing is ok, just try not to make it a habit. Sometimes we can succomb to wallowing and it becomes a part of who we are. It seems like hard work to do anything some days, but you really have to make yourself get up and get going. Do something....even if it seems like work. Eventually it will become easier. Hope you're feeling better! xoxo

Sometimes a little wallowing is what you need, sometimes you need to get out there and do something about it. It's not that simple though, I know, good luck to you, hope you can see your way through it.

there became a guy (a widespread and correctly familiar person on R & S) at here some months in the past who introduced he became giving up and became going to commit suicide. many human beings at here, alongside with myself certainly believed him and tried very difficult to be gentle and communicate him out of it. anyhow, I emailed him privately and he responded back that he became truthfully going to do it at month's end. To make an prolonged tale short, he not at all did commit suicide and is now on his fifteenth or sixteenth account on R & S. yet i assume whilst he gets disillusioned he says some tremendously outlandish stuff to get observed.
