I left Catholicism in favour of evangelical Christianity.
Catholicism to me, as a younger person, was quite confusing. Even as a 9 year old, when learning about and participating in my 1st "confession", I couldn't comprehend why we were taught that Jesus is our confessor, and yet we had to tell a priest what our sins were. I also didn't understand if Jesus forgave our sins when we confessed and truly repented, and didn't even remember them, then why did we have to say a "penance" or pray to Mary to intercede for us? I didn't understand until after studying the Word in greater depth, that praying to a saint or Mary or anyone but Jesus was unnecessary. Jesus IS our salvation - why dial the "operator" to get to God when he is right there all the time?

Christian to Islam.
Why? Because I grew up thinking Isa(PBUH*) was son of God. Then when I became Christian on June 28th 2006 I found out Isa(pbuh*) was supposedly God in three forms. Father, son, holy ghost Well I never understood that at all. So I looked through the 10 commandments of the Torah and saw that the first commandment said "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me." So I knew then I'd go to Hell unless I got right with God. I have plenty of Muslim friends so I talked with them bout Islam and studied it for 5 months then reverted to the true religion (Islam) October 2nd, 2006. No I don't regret it one bit. And I was agnostic growing up. Al Hamlayadah that ALLAH opened up my eyes to the truth.

Many have come to know the Christ through me and many have left false Gospels. I never counted as I was only a vessel and had prayed to be used.

Only those that are meant to be saved will be.
However , I do believe many of the chosen are into false Gospels or religions.

I was christian. I converted to Islam for many personal reasons and questions on the Christian beliefs. i do not want to offend anyone so I will not publish those reasons but I do write about them in my blog. Suffice it to say I am very happy as a Muslim and I would not want it any other way! (Zoinc! 2 points, Buya)

I was catholic growing up. I've decided to not baptize my kids as catholics because I don't believe in a lot of their basic ideas. I don't believe that I have to confess to a priest. I don't believe I have to pray "through" saints. I don't believe you have to give 10% of your income to go to heaven. I could go on & on.... I will believe & pray in the way I feel best. I confess & pray only to Jesus. I truly don't know what is right & wrong. But I know what is right for me.

as for me, i guess, it'd be better to lose it altogether rather than change, albeit i'm still not through with the process, so it's hard to say for sure what'll come out of it

You cannot convert lead into gold. That´s called alchemy. And there´s no golden religious convert, only golden atheists.

I haven't. I was raised with no religion, and I'll die with no religion.
