If someone is possessed, how could you know for sure? Does anyone have any information. I study exorcisms for a living, but I would like to know what the general public thinks.

Only one man can be possessed by the Devil: The Antichrist. When the Antichrist comes onto the scene, everyone will know.
I think you are talking about demon possession, which is extremely rare in America. I don't know if anyone could ever be sure if someone is possessed or not. The cure is the issue. The only cure is for that person to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. He paid the penalty for everyone's sins when he was on the cross, so that anyone who believes in Him can have life in Heaven with God forever and a life of stability and problem solving while on Earth.

The "devil" is an individual and dose not possess the ability to be omni present... but his demons can indeed posess people... If you suspect that this has occured you may demand of the evil spirit to identify himself... this must be done in The Name and with the authority of Jesus The Christ. The spirit must comply... do not try this if you are not protected by The Armor of God which is The Word.... exorcisms, at least the true kind, are not tht common... there is seldome actual possession... the forces of evil are in the deception business... they seldom seem to find the need to actualy posess someone... and getting them out when they do is not easy... and attemptsoften fail...
Long befor I became of The True Christian Faith I was an intended victim of a posession... I believe it was foiled only because there was a witness to the attempt... I believe that most attempts can be warded off by exposing the attempt or by invoking the Name of Jesus The Christ to protect the one attacked... no one of The True Chrisian Faith can be posessed as we belong to God.
edit note: I have been physicaly attacked twice by an evil force since becomeing a Christian. there was no attempt to posess but I was clearly aware of the force of evil and was physicaly moved by this force... I invoked The Name of My Lord and Master and command the evil to depart and it did both times

You can't usually know for sure someone is possessed by demons because they're just normal like you. You can most likely know a person is possessed by devil is actually when the devil manifests in her/him and the devil might manifest if that person gets born again and he/she starts going to prayer group. I've had many experience where I see demons manifest in people, so you can be sure that I know what I'm saying is true. I came from Haiti where people use bad spirits to kill people and when these people get really sick and about to die they be lucky enough to go to church and when they go church these demons are most likely to manifest in the them.

yea there is such a thing, i saw it, n i saw it wn it got out by the priest by saying Jesus name or st. Mary. and apparently they hate st. Mary.
wt happened was the demon wanted to get out of the lady's eyes. but the priest forced him to get out of her toe. therefor it stared to bleed .. she stared shaking yet it took her a while to react.

I THINK IF THEY CAN'T SAY JESUS'S NAME. I WENT TO A CHURCH ONCE AND THEY WERE TRYING TO GET THE DEVIL OUT OF SOMEONE AND THEY ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT SAY HIS NAME
