I've tried mare's (horse's) milk. It's a little watery and very, very sweet (a bit like human milk).
Mare's milk is sold in Belgium (and other European countries, I'm sure) as a lowfat, less allergic alternative to cow's milk. It's also made into ice cream and, I think, used as an ingredient in face soap. I don't like it (too sweet).
I vaguely remember goat's MILK smelling rather "goaty". However, I LOVE goat's cheese (feta and other varieties).

+ Believe it or not I had a crew member who was traveling with me in the military(middle east) buy and drink, (of course he couldn't read the script) Elephant Milk. He said it was OK. I saw the carton that was part empty in his fridge, so I guess I have to believe him.
