Bit of a non-question....
Longhorn was the development name for Vista, so they're effectively one and the same.
Windows media centre isn't a windows version, it's more a flavour. It's basically XP optimised for video and audio playback.
I imagine there will be a Vista Media Centre edition.
If you want a complete OS, the best of those would be Longhorn/Vista. If you want a media centre, the best would be Media Centre.

Windows Longhorne is the original name of Windows Vista (the new commercial name). It will be the new O.S. that slowly will supersede the old XP version. Windows Media Center
(codename Symphony) is a version of Windows XP designed to serve as a home-entertainment hub. Windows XP Media Center Edition (XP MCE) is distinguished from other versions of Windows XP by an exclusive preinstalled application, Media Center, which provides a large-font ("10-foot"), remotely accessible interface for TV viewing on the computer as well as recording and playback, DVD playback, video playback, photo viewing, and music playback.
As you see, they just are two different O.S. for two different computer typology.

Windows Vista is supposed to be the best program. I hear that they are goin to start closing some of their programing so that it is harder for viruses to get into the system.

I have Media, and its pretty cool. i tried the beta version of Vista and it was sweet as well but since it was a beta version, it was hard to decide plus it had many glitches. we'll have to wait and see.
