My friend says that if u do PLC you are unable to be taken out of college and put on active duty, but i was wondering if this was true, since you would be on reserve duty and your unit could go active.

Curt is correct!

Please keep in mind that if you went Military Reserves BEFORE PLC and/or college and are not currently Active Reserves, you can still be on the INACTIVE RESERVE list....therefore be pulled out if activated.

If you are in the Reserves then yes you can be sent to active duty just like before, but if you are a civilian student who goes through PLC you are not actually in the military until you graduate and get your commission.
