Wake up,if you are a sinner after meeting jesus and being baptized with spirit, you are a lazy fool who has not done the work as Jesus expected of you,he would say to you,go away I know you not.

If one says "I AM A SINNER" then he denies Christ is in him.

aussiep,I am not speaking of one verse of scripture,I speak of all the new testament, and those who would nullify all of Jesus's work. If one says,"I am a christian, christ is in me,but I am a sinner, then you call JESUS a liar. I know Jesus spoke the truth.

People,I just serve God an speak as i am given. all I say comes with unconditional love. If you believe you sin then PLEASE revue your experience. I tell you that you have gone off course, ask God to send you a teacher. One thing I would offer, when one is removed from sin they will go back into sin with the christ leading the way. this is to show you that this life no longer holds your interest. NO you did not backslide,NO there is no sin attributed to you. Please go back an study the rest of the process.

Well i won't speak for him but this is what the bible says,

Romans 5:12 states "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." However it goes on in chapter 6: 23 For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." So although mankind has been born in sin because of Adam, we have the hope that we can return to the condition that God purposed for man in the beginning, perfection in a paradise earth.

Psalms 37:10,11 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Revelation 21: 3 - 5 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”

We were born into sin because of the fall in the Garden of Eden. When this happened sin entered our beings by nature. Every day we sin. A sin is anything that is not of God. So even our thoughts can possess sin. Questioning God's Word is a sin... just to name a few. Nobody on earth is capable to live without sin that's why we need to ask for the blood of Christ, which is asking for forgiveness everyday. He will wash them away and send the sin as far to the east as it is to the west, so if we were to stand before the father today He would not see our sins, just the blood of Christ

I don't think the church has failed to communicate this. I am reading the Catechism of the Catholic Church and it teaches that Jesus Christ freed us from sin but there is still a sinful nature in each of us and that's why we need God, to forgive us and help us. No one, me, you, the Pope even, is free from the temptation of sin. I know I'm a sinner because I have a feeling of deep regret anytime that I offend someone of do something against God and truth. And by the way this isn't an excuse to sin, rather it should inspire us to overcome it.

Even when we accept Jesus Christ - we still sin - we strive not to sin but can keep from it. We may even sin without even knowing we are sinning. That is just how it is - we are born with a sin nature, passed down from Adam. Jesus Christ is our salvation and our hope and we do have the Holy Spirit who convicts us of our sin - but to say we are sinless after salvation would be a lie.

Well, I cannot answer for "Billy Graham" or for all christians, but I can tell you that we are sinners and always will sin. We can rise above our past sins by repenting of them and not doing them again but to believe we are still sinners is a fact and that is why.
Hope this helps you get the answer your looking for.

its in our human nature to be sinners. thinking we can 'change' that nature to something other than being a sinner is foolish. its like asking an elephant to change into a tiger---it just won't happen.

as Christians, we're not perfect, just forgiven. we can't 'change' our sinful nature---but by becoming a Christian we have asked Christ to forgive us and take our sins upon Himself.

and the great thing about it is, He never turns anyone away if they ask Him for forgiveness!

Hmm. The QUESTION addresses "most christians".

As a Christian, I'll offer my answer: reality is reality.

If you wanted to ask ONLY Billy Graham, you'd probably have more success by writing via Snail Mail instead of on this forum. I doubt he logs in here anyway.

i dont know about billy graham, but yes the point of Christian faith is to rise above sin. No one promised that we'd all be able to do it. Most people dont have trouble with the worst sins anyway: stealing, killing, raping, etc.

A sin is ANYTHING AT ALL that comes between your soul. and the spirit of god, even a doubt is a sin, the smallest little doubt,we have all sinned.we must try though,to not sin, it is our duty.Jesus came though to give us a way to heaven but we MUST try,To do gods will.and doing gods will is being in the spirit of god, allowing the spirit to guide us in our life's, I cant talk for Mr Graham but my parents used to travel eighty miles to a church in N.C. to hear him and I learned a lot from my parents, god be with you and guide you.
