1) Adjustable heat settings
2) Ceramic plates
3) Won't fry hair
4) Lasts a long time
5) Has to make it silky, gently. I have thin hair
6) Brand and cost
7) Can the power be converted since my Dad's in the army and we're overseas with him.

CHI irons are great. I do believe this can also be converted, because it is an international company. My ex-boss used to work for them in sales.

Get a TRUE CERAMIC PRO i have really curly ahir and when used at the right setting with a good pressing spray, it actually improved the look of my hair by ionizing it, that's what irons made of real ceramic and not coated do for hair...
