Here are some incredably obvious irrefutable facts about REALITY that some people choose to ignore.
What kind of all knowing, OMNIBENEVOLENT (all good) being would sit and watch while "gods people" burn to death and starve in concentration camps?
Many christians belive the earth is only 8,000 years old (if you add up the ages of profits like moses). According to that belief, dinosaurs dont exist. go to a musem, honestly
If Adam and Eve were the first 2 humans, then their children wouldve bred, and thier children, and so on. We would be one big inbred family. hopefully we all know that when you do your sister, recessive genes match up. The result is mutated babies.
I mean common people, there are over 5 billion NON-christians in the world, most of which are totally decent people who do good deeds, but according to you they get tortured and ripped apart because they didnt get trapped into a manipulative moneysucking BUSINESS called christianity.
Wake up and start living, please.

I can understand it when someone was indoctrinated into a religion as a child. Children just believe what they are told, and it is hard to break out of that mindset when one does grow up and has a choice of what to believe or disbelieve. Its the ones that aquire these thoughts as an adult that I don't understand.

People like to be right. It's human nature.

A lot of the times, people form beliefs and then they only take notice of the evidence that supports their beliefs. As you have already noted, they tend to disregard any evidence - no matter how strong - that refutes their beliefs.

I must say, though, you are not really fair with your assessment of Christians. Many are just as you describe: close-minded, religious bigots.

But there are a lot of compassionate, kind, good-hearted, accepting, tolerant Christians who do not condemn people of other religions, and who do not condemn people who are non-religious.

A lot of Christians do not take the Bible literally. After all, Jesus used parables to teach important lessons in morality and ethics.

Here is a definition I found of the word parable: a usually short fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle

That's my 2 cents. Thank you for the question. I think it's a good one.

Hey guy!Calm down. What you just did is the same thing as pushy Christians telling you you better do what they say or you will burn for eternity.Really ,there is no use arguing about it cuz no one knows for sure. I think we should all just go on about our business and stop worrying about who is gonna burn or not.The only person we need to keep in check is ourselves.i am a Christian and one of my best friend is an Agnostic. She is one of the kindest people I know. She would drop anything for a friend. We respect each other beliefs. I don't push my faith on to her and she doesn't make fun of mine.I don't have the answers for you about the terrible things that have happened and why GOD permitted it. I only have my faith and faith is believing in even if you don't understand. Don't let us Christians bother you, it is not worth getting your blood pressure up. Have a good one

1. They aren't contradictions.
2. Few people ignore them.
3. Taste of bitter reality? Not in the least.

Thanks for the Christianity bashing moment.

I don' know. To me, it is obvious that the bible is pure fiction. IF there is a God, than He would never send us to hell for having sex outside of marriage. Or for a person's sexual orientation that they are born with. Duh, it does not make sense.
