No. I always get a kick out of the christians espousing the terrible times we are facing, as they sit and enjoy their airconditioned homes, nice cars, plentiful food, and no real threat to their safety. The world as a whole is much better off now than 100 years ago; but the naysayers who can't understand that revelations is a rant of a drug-mad fool are still just hoping for the world to end. Too bad they can't just be happy and enjoy life.

No, because if we were, we'd already have some scientific evidence or at least a hint of that. It's true that we're going through some important crises, with fuel, and water. But that doesn't mean we're over yet.

I would say, everyone born is likely to be less than 75 years away from meeting their maker.
Thus, we have and always will be--in our last days--as individuals.
What else matters?
