Ah yes, the deadly friend zone. The Sargasso Sea of passion. One thing above all, do not slip too quickly into being overly nice. Keep the flirty thing in there so she knows that you aren't just interested in being her talk buddy.

You have to establish that you are not looking to be just friends when you first meet her. This means a little physical contact, checking her out once in a while, and flirting. Thats my advice. Make it clear that you are interested from the beginning. If you don't you will get filled away as a friend.

As brash as this sounds, just let her know from the beginning that you're interested. Ask her out. The worst that can happen is her saying no. At least you won't be stuck in the friend zone.

the friend zone. i know it is dreadful if you like the girl. well be a little flirty from time to time and ask subtle hint questions like: "what would you do if i ask you out?" or "would you slap me if i kiss you?" play it safe and play it smart. she'll get the hint and if her answers are negative, you'll know if it's better to stay in the friend zone or braving it across. timing is the key. don't be a friend for too long and never ever let yourself see her cry about any personal problem. if she comes to you to pour her heart out, you'll stay in that zone for good.

good luck!

Make your intentions obvious from the beginning... But not TOO obvious

While she's talking during that first encounter and she is looking at you, take a moment to look her entire body up and down for a couple seconds. Then look back in her eyes and smile and nod a couple times.

It doesn't much matter where the conversation goes, as long as she gets the message that her mind isn't the only thing that attracts you.

Don't go overboard with this either, you'll look creepy.

Honey I am sorry but you have to go through the friend zone to get to the other side if you want it to be a successful and lasting trip...that is unless you only want it to be a visit to the "jump yer bones I've got to be going" zone...so you gotta question yourself if that is really the state you ultimately wanna be in?

Ask her if she wants to go to a concert ot somewhere when you first meet. Girls loves a confidant guy who does things. If you are playin you are stayin.

To the response above saying "be rude and then they will hate you" ... I think arrogant is better than rude but you got to follow it up with a big over sized ego we girls in the back of our head want to tame and control. Be dangerous, and go for it.

you're thinking about this way too hard. don't worry about anything like the "friend zone". The fact that you're her friend or are becoming what she sees as a friend isn't exactly a bad thing in fact it can work to your advantage.

There are classic, time-honored ways of showing a girl you like them as more than a friend. Like buying her flowers, calling, emailing, and kissing her is a really good way. Do the usual stuff and don't be shy. Show her how you feel and she'll show you how she feels.

tease the girl (the way that gets them to punch you in your arm) bust on her...and dont stop. then act uninterested in her, remember your additude should be "i'm qualifying this girl not the other way around"..basically to be approval accepting not seeking approval, but ALSO be a gentleman (open doors pull out chairs)
just keep your composure, and this will work magic for you TRUST ME
goodluck!
