My friend's new bf was working in Veitnam for about 5yrs before they met in the UK. He went back to Veitnam for holidays and she wanted to go later- but he said they had to stay in seperated bedrooms as everyone in the little homy hotel knew him and he did not want people think he was an easy guy. She was worried he had a girlfriend there.. is he cheating?

definitely ,maybe cheating would be too hush of a word but rather he was not honest to tell her girlfriend the truth that he had left someone back at Vietnam. so that could be the reason ,most probably i can say. Or it depends on how old and the limits in the relationship. if they never slept together before why now?the other reason could be that maybe he was known as a tough and fearful person and he is just embarrassed to show that he has a soft side other than that there is definitely someone else. the

Your "friend" is probably right. I'd even go as far as "wife" not g/f in Vietnam! Nonetheless, that is the most ridiculous reason I have ever heard. The day men become worried about their virtue is the day I jump off a cliff.

That is a strange request considering she flew all the way from the UK to Vietnam to be with him...I do not know if he is cheating but from what you said he def has not told anyone about their relationship...strange...she should ream his tush out for that kind of treatment!

One thing is for sure, he doesn't want anyone to know that she is a serious girlfriend from back home. His reason doesn't make sense. I assume that there would be other places to stay if that were the real problem.

If he said she couldn't come at all I would think yes but since he wants her there just not in the same room I am going to say he is not.
