he smites and kills at random and leaves his children to suffer terrible tragedys only to have them burn in hell if they question him.
to me that defines the term abusive.
i was an abused child so i know what abuse is when i see it.

We are very small tiny souls, very underdeveloped ,theres a long way to go to even Begin to understand the ways of god..It is not possible to know all about god, especially in books, of different religions, these made up religions are turning people away from the spirit of god, god is love, the prince of the power of the air is not love, damn religions,

No, God is NOT an abusive parent.

Many of us were abused as children. The way *I* see it - there is but ONE true God, and salvation ONLY thru His Son, Jesus.

The "random" destruction and tragedy that you "see" somes from the pursuit and worship of false gods (greed, lust, power, fame, allah, etc).

And I bet you're the type that hates God because he won't give you what you want in life. How about you stop blaming him and start asking him for help. Maybe then you won't see him as abusive.

I would say, He is a little on the relaxed side. We, His children seem to be guilty of all the abuse.
