Try using a golden based rinse on it to help cut some of the ashy look. Someone at Sally's Beauty Supply should be able to help you find a color that will tone down the ash.

Go to Wal Mart and buy one of those L'Oreal kits of color that is color and highlights a two step process,, its very natural looking

you have the case of the mouse brown hair...lol...put a drop or two of red intensifyer in a neutral brown dye, as neutral contains all undertones the two or three drops of intensifier(not more) will make the red undertone prevail getting rid of the ash one...good luck...

try to put rubbing porocside on it then,add like a honey brown or honey blond.

try going to your hairstylist and getting ruddish-browinsh highlights... it makes it look a bit more natural
