okay, if you read my previous question, i will say that it isn't necessarily true. i went out with a 'brotha' to a party that turned out to be a kind of 'mini-orgy,' a lot of couples doing it in front of each other (no switching though).
i can't say that the guy i was with was any big deal, and to be honest, the two largest guys there were both white. as another 'myth' that i witnessed, the one guy was six and a half feet tall and was really 'small' and there was a really short guy that was packing a whopper!
so, i am asking, how do these myths get started?

I am pretty much guessing also but I think it was started by guys comparing themselves to other guys. It's like who has the fastest car, the most tools or in this case the erm biggest one. LOL Women in general I do not think care as much about the size of the erm package but what the guy is like inside (ok some care if he has a cute butt and eyes! LOL)
I have gay guy friends however who are REALLY hung up (no pun intended! LOL) on the size of a guys manhood. I was with my best friend now my ex (long story) at a Home Depot one time when he spotted a guy with a really long hose and was chiding me because I did not see it first...I am like...I do not go around looking at guys crotches all day! I do not have that kind of trained eye...apparently he did and to this day still laughs at me about that...

I have no idea. My husband is short in stature, but well. . .not short in other ways. A lot of it is probaby perspective, too. On a tall guy, a 7" penis would look much smaller than the same size would look on a short guy.

Horney, I mean Honey, first of all if you like to swing, than why do care about the size to the Ding. If you take it in, and enjoy it, and it is 3"s than that is what counts. Unless you want to see how much you can get down your throat!!!!

To me, penis size doesn't mean much at all in terms of sex. A guy could have 2" and it wouldn't bug me, as long as I like him and his personality. And to Tiger Lilly: I don't know any gay men personally who are obsessed with size, but it seems to me a lot of hetero women are obsessed with size. Grow up.
But, here goes on the topic of size.
Regarding size, I believe there is a correlation between race and also height.
I think Black men tend to be bigger than White men, and White men tend to be a bit larger than Asian men.
Penis size TENDS to be in proportion to height. Taller men TEND to have larger penises. Also, a seven inch penis looks a lot bigger on a short, slender man than it does on a really big, tall guy.
But, just because black men are, on average, larger than Whites and Asians, it doesn't mean that you won't find Asian men with enormous penises. Or White men with enormous penises. And it doesn't mean you won't find Black guys who have really small penises. In porn, the White guys always have great big penises. In fact, just about every man in porn has a great big one.
Same thing with height. You'll find a greater percentage of tall men with bigger penises, but you'll also find little men with HUGE penises.
Man, they claim we gay men are obsessed with penis size. But it seems hetero women are REALLY into size.
