It's up to you to decide if the friendship is worth taking a risk for. I would have a talk with him and tell him that you want to take the friendship to another level. I would then ask him if he feels the same. Explain to him what your concerns are and that you are worried that the friendship might take a turn for the worst. At this point, you two will need to weigh your pro's and con's and determine if it's worh the risk or not. In my opionion, if you both are interested in becoming more than just friends, I would go for it. The best way to start a relationship is to be friends first. You've already passed the friend test, now see how he feels about having you as a girlfriend. Good Luck!

You will never have a truely meaningful relationship unless both of you are absoulutely open and honest with each other. It sounds like one of you has to take the bull by the horns and tell the other exactly how you fell about the other. If it is the end of a friendship, then it wasn't much of a friendship to start.A true friend is one to whom you can say any damn thing to with out fear of damaging the relationship So lay it out for him. Remember, a life without taking risks is a life not lived to its fullest. It is better to try and fail than to never try and never know!!

Listen, I've liked my best friend for a year now. You need to tell him. If he doesn't feel the same way, take a couple of days apart and then go back to being friends. It shouldn't ruin your relationship if you're actually good friends. If he does feel the same way, have a great relationship and don't worry about the repercussions. Otherwise, you'll spend the rest of your life wondering what could have been.

You are right, but he thinks probably same way like you. Looks like you never going to be together if you don't make the one step forward. Wait few more months to be sure you go for the best in your life.

Say something like....you know we get along so good together would you like to go out some time?
I think I would take a week to really pay attention to how he behaves around you before I ask him though. Usually when a guy likes you he sends out signals....pretty much like we do.

some of the best relationships happen out of freindship. As youve both got to know each other without the romantic stuff first.
theres no garantee in it will work out, but if its what you both want then why not go for it.
