I don't want to be worried with the daily stops and getting back on of a bus tour. I also want to do this around Christmas time, so that the White House will have its tree up. Thanks :o)

Recently they have changed the touring policy at the white house. It used to be a escorted your by a guide. Now you have to arrange though your congress man/women, for a group tour. They do not take groups smaller then 10 people and you have to send each person's social security number, address... all the stuff required for a background check. I went in January of 2006 and it was still quite worth it but its not just a one day planning type thing. I hope you are able to get a tour!

Requests must be submitted through one's Member of Congress and are accepted up to six months in advance.
