You see my step father is in prison and since he was moved from the county jail to the state prison I have no way of checking his release date and such. So how and where can i go to get this information a webste would be appreciated. This is important to me as I DO NOT want him out of jail without me knowing about it. Plz I fear for my own safety help me plz. thank you ppl.

1) Information about convicted felons is public record. If anyone within the system, tells you otherwise...get their name and contact their supervisor.
2) Not knowing the circumstances..If you or any person connected to you by birth,blood, marriage or employment was the victim. You can ask to be notified of any action concerning him
parole hearing, retrials, sentence reduction actions or revocation or early release hearing...it's your legal, Federally guaranteed right.
3) Contact the Florida Dept of Law enforcement (state's version of the FBI) and ask them to find the info or to direct you to the agency that has it. again it's your right
4) Contact the state's Board of Parole and Probation and request info....they CAN NOT refuse.....it's Public Record.

Check out the DOC website. You can find easy in any search website. It'll have the location he's at as well as a listing of the crimes he's in there for and his release date. Keep in mind that the release date can change with gain time. Also in FL they like to move the inmates often. You should contact DOC about notification if you are a victim.

you can try calling the clerk of courts? or doing a search on the Dept of Correction of Florida. It is public info to know stuff like that for your exact reasons! hope you find your peace and info u need - good luck!
