dengue fever is a viral infection transmitted by a mosquito of the species aedes egypti..the virus belongs to the genus of flavi virus..& there r many types of the virus..(serotypes).
the mosquito bites humans during the day & breed in clean collection of water.
the symptoms comprise of sudden onset of fever associated with muscle pain,,joint pain.headache.
gastritis can occur with nausea,vomitting or diarrhoea..also rash which are actually submucosal bleeding .(pinpoint bleeding spots) can occur.dengue is often misdiagnosed as viral flu in the absence of the rash
severe cases can lead to the haemorrhagic dengue syndrome ..in which the patients platelet count reduces <100 per mm3. they tend to bleed thru their nose,into the skin.
treatment is supportive.that is to maintain adequate hydartion& if necessay blood transfusion
prevention ..is not available in the form of vaccine..avoid collection of water in containers pool,coolers.wear full sleeves clothing during the day & spray insecticides,use repellents & mosquits screens

Dengu fever is a virus that is spread by infected blood or body fluids.
It can cause hemorraging, internal and external bleeding, shock, and tissue death .
Hearing loss ,facial swelling and inflamation of the eyes, are some of the symtoms .
There is no known cure . Countries that have little medical supplies are more at risk
because there is alot of needle shareing .

do you mean dengue fever? i got dengue when i was in 4th grade. its an illness you get from a mosquito bite. it has several stages so a good way to prevent dying from it is detecting it early. just wear mosquito repellent/bug spray.
