I am a Native American. We have been trying to get rid of all the illegal immigrants for over 400 years and it hasn't worked yet.

maybe if we all banned them to work here, banned housing and yes terminated their employment. But the truth is illegal immigrants are paid less to do the same job, so people are not going to fire these employess. Example Egg farm hires you to do clean up job at there site at $9.00 an hour, but an illegal comes in and they only ask for $5.00 an hour. Who do you think they will fire first.

No because all of them aren't working. We can deport them. Not overnight though. You would just hope some would have the sense to go home peacefully if employment wasn't so easy. I'm sure crime and violence will get worse. But then so will their chance of staying here, and they'll be deported anyway no matter what "compromise" might be worked out.

Isis, No offence, But just because you were here first doesn't mean your the only legal people, and being that your native american you should know that Native Americans came from Asia in two seperate groups, Now, If others hadn't come, you wouldn't be sitting at a computer right now, so don't be a hypocrite.

No, Most would still stay here

lol @ Isis. Too funny.

The answer is: "no"

There are too many people willing to use their labor without reporting it to the government. Those people should go to jail for breaking the law.

The illegal immigrants should be deported.

No, they would just turn to crime. Need to arrest anyone hiring them and shoot the ones dealing in drugs and stealing. the few hundred that are left could be easily transported back to Mexico. a couple of Greyhound buses would be enough to do the job.

That's been a big point in the whole debate...illegal aliens wouldn't be coming if it weren't for the illegal hiring practices...

Why not fine the employers, who give them jobs? Why don't we call these people 'illegal'? They are more culpable, then the undocumented worker.....They are making money illegally, off the back of slave laborers....

No one seems to bash and dehumanize these people, who are blatantly breaking the law...

We could not get 100,000 people out of New Orleans. How can we get 20,000,000 out of the country? We cannot.
