if it's and 11 yr old boy, it borders a bit on the strange...boys that young can have hormonal problems and get excited by being that close to a nude or semi nude woman

Normal. Why are people so uptight about that kind of stuff? It's her son for goodness sake. The boy might have a fear of the dark, endured some kind of trauma, or anything. You just never know what each situation is like. The only reason you should be concerned with it, is if you spend the night, and she lets him sleep in the bed with the two of you. Now THAT would be improper. If that's not happening, then don't worry about it.
