I try my hardest to only wash my hair every other day .. but, it gets soo greasy so quickly. I even completely stopped using conditioner, since that's pretty much all oil. Any suggestions??

Hiya
This is a great tip, put johnsons baby powder on your hair when it feels greasy, it really dries it out and i swear it won't look greasy. Now don't go over doing it with the talc. No damage to your hair either. Good luck

I too have greasy hair, or had anyway. I only wash my hair now about once a week. ( more if needed) but it's hard. You definitely have to stop washing so often, 1st...then try not to rub your hands threw it. Your hands put off a lot of oils and rubbing your fingers through your hair only adds to the problem...
start by going all weekend without washing...days your home...and vacation time...when no ones around to see you..
good luck

Wash your hair during the week each day with a gentle shampoo like J&J Baby Shampoo, and use a good moisturizing conditioner only on the bottom half of the hair shaft (try to avoid the scalp). On the weekends, don't wash your hair to give it a chance to "normalize" with its own oils (which are far better for hair anyway). Eventually, try to work down to only washing your hair twice during the week. Your hair and scalp become "trained" to what you put on them, and if you continue to wash your hair every day, your scalp starts to overproduce oil to compensate for constantly being stripped of it. If you can force yourself to cut back on the amount you shampoo, your scalp will start to even out by itself and produce less oils.

Cut it to a manageable length and use a proper shampoo for greasy hair, and wash your hair twice.
I also heard that if you brush it too much it gets greasy quickly so ease up on the brush.

i locate with my hair if i replace into my hair popular my hair gets greater greasy so I follow the different day (that is by way of fact it makes the scalp produce greater oil) yet I go away it greater that that my hair is insufferable! If I have been you i might stick with your habitual yet while it is going overly grease supply it a speedy blast with a solid high quality dry shampoo (eg batiste)

try lathering up a bar of soap and use that to wash your hair. it defiantly won't leave it greasy. while it doesn't have that nice smell and feel after washing with shampoo i can guarantee it does the trick. if you use soap alternatively with shampoo your hair will be 100 times better and far less greasy. hope it helps.

try washing your hair everyday, use shampoo twice instead of once and dont not use conditioner. if you have to in order to use conditioner......use a stripping shampoo that strips your hair of greasyness and oil. but conditioner protects your hair so dont not use it.

You can color you hair. The coloring will dry up some of the oils in your hair.

Try getting a shampoo and conditioner that helps your hair or try asking your doctor. You may have a hair disease.
