If this is what i think it is, it is not a rash. It is a skin fungus. I had this a few years ago, it was red and splotchy, then turned brown. It itched, and i believe it is what you have. I might be wrong, and i hope i am. It is called pityriasis versicolor or tinea veriscolor. It is a type of skin fungus that grows from an overgrowth of yeast in the body and reacts with heat and moisture and multiplies. The only way to get rid of it is to either to go the doctor and get a pill that has a certain chemical in it (ketoconozole) and that will most likely get rid of it. What worked better for me, is to get a shampoo called Nizoral (with ketoconozole) or Selsun blue (with another anti dandruf chemical) and apply directly on the spot for a certain period of time (nizoral- 5-10 minutes every day for a week or two, and selsun-30-40 minutes a day for a week) and it will kill the fungus. I had this fungus a few years ago very very badly and i have done this, and it has gotten under control and it no longer itches. I first got in 6th grade, and have just graduated high school. It was just a little rash until 9th grade, then it started to itch, so if you try what i suggested, and get rid of it now, you will be in luck. Of course, i might be wrong, but it sounds like the same thing. Good luck

It sounds gross, but it is probably from a deodorant. Stop using it for a while and let it go away on its own.
