I prefer kittens they aren't as stringy and come in bite size portions.

Absolutely, in fact I've just adopted a 12 year old moggy called Monty.
Kittens are cute but they and stay like that for long. They also take a lot of time and effort to look after and train and unless you know their background, even with the best care in the world they could still grow-up into the cat from hell.

Actually, what I like are young cats--4 to 6 months old. They're still playfull, but more independent than kittens; though I do love both kittens and full-grown cats. Little kitties are cute and sweet, but adult cats have that certain humanlike "personality".

I love my big fluff bag - she talks and has such a sukey personality. She has so much more personality now than when she was a kitten. She tolerates my kids so well (she is a year younger than my eldest) but sometimes gives me that 'Mum I have had enough of this' look when she gets fed up being cuddled. She has made friends with the neighbours' dogs and walks to heel when I go out rounding the kids up at teatime and bedtime. She is fab. She is called Foggy because she has a stare like Carl Fogarty's - sad but never mind x

I love them at any age except for the cat down our street who terrorises all the others including my 3. Unfortunately I think its a fact of life that many would want a kitten rather than a cat when going to a rescue centre.

Kitties are cute.... nice.. but I prefer giving a fully grown cat a nice home.. the problem is that at the kennels, people never take the older cats and that is sad because they deserve a home as well. I always get my pets at the city pound and like to get the OLDER pets...

i love cats, each and every age, all sizes. All of mine were kittens when I received them. and each and every time i hit upon myself in some unspecified time sooner or later declaring 'why oh why did not i'm getting an man or woman?', lol. Kittens are a lot relaxing, yet you extremely ought to kitten evidence each and every thing. My Bengal is starting up to quiet down slightly when you consider that he reached 2, and that's plenty a lot less stressful. he remains a showoff and a clown though.

I wouldn't say I prefer them because kittens are a barrel of fun. Of course, like childhood that passes very quickly.
I just "rescued" a 14 and 1/2 year old cat who had been abandoned for six months at a local boarding facility. He fits in beautifully with my "family" - another 14 yr old, one 13, one 11, one 10 and one 22.

I do, as well. They are calmer and don't tend to climb the curtains as kittens do. We got a lovely 2-3yr old Persian from a cat rescue and he is just perfect. He is a companion and friend and doesn't go tearing through the house as a kitten would.

i love kittens, that way you get a kitten which then grows up to be a fully grown cat (and they're cute little balls of fluff) Best of both worlds!! :P

Aww, well i'm caught in the middle, cause the kittens, they're adorable, but a handful, adults, are lazy, well at least my three are. I love the "Middle Aged' cats, they're still playful, but they aren't as destructive with my things. Cats are amazing animals, and everyday I thank God that he created such wonderful animals.
