Hell no. If you are completly clean, and inhale smoke in the air, you would never fail a test off of that. First off, in order to inhale enough to get high you would have to sit in an airtight closet with people smoking joints for hours. And in order for you to fail a drug test you have to have over 50 something mg/kg or something. This is quite impossible for passive smoking. You are safe, don't even worry.

Depending on the proximity...say you were in a closed tent and peeps were "crackin the ja" so to speak...then yes...your contact high might get a positive reading...but if your not smoking it you shouldn't get a positive reading...now if you do get a positive reading and you really aren't smoking it you have to weigh the value of your friendships w/ the effects of getting positive readings on drug tests which can effect you job or even your personal freedom (I dont know if this is a job requirement or a probationary evaluation as you did not make that point clear)...personally I might think about loosing the friends and getting some new ones...you can make new friends but you only have one life...gl...

Well, here in Canada we had a huge scandal in one of the winter Olympics a few years ago. IT was the first one when they allowed snowboarding events. Our guy won the gold, but he tested positive for marijuana use. He swore he hadn't smoked any, just been around people that had been smoking it. So you might be able to to test positive for any drug if you are just around it, breathing in the fumes.
(Since marijuana is a depressant, the Olympic committee decided that our snowboarder could keep his medal, because marijuana would have never helped his performance on the board.)

Depending on how much you inhale. People have tested positive from nose hits, in other words from breathing in, what others are smoking and blowing out. Would have to be a pretty concentrated are of air, for you to test positive from nose hits, but it is possible. Thanks for the opportunity to address your question.

it is possible...but keep in mind that you would hae to stand there for quite awile breathing in heavy amonts of smoke fo it to stay in your sysytem for any lenghty amount of time.....i dont smoke all that often...but once when i was in college i smoked a big doobie three days before i had a drug test with a new job i had gotten...and it didnt show up

sometimes. heavy amounts of second hand smoke blown around you, whether cigs or weed, studies show that it is way worse than if you actually smoked it. take golden seal root vitamin supplement, 4 capsules a day and a ton of water a week before your drug screen and you should be ok.
