every question on the uk site is either anti uk or usa...or a question to do with muslims wearing veils.....this site is a breath of fresh air

I don't know where the first answer is from but this is yahoo Canada eh! not the US. I will agree that this forum for questions and answers is fun. I'm glad you found us.Since I am not Muslim and don't wear a vail I really don't care if others do. I am not anti USA nor am I anti UK as long as they realize that Canada is the #1 country to live in.

There are separate English language sites. There is a drop down menu on the first page called "Show". You can choose to see all English language questions or only local questions.

Actually, I think the English speakers all share a site. At least, if I click the British flag, I don't see any difference in the questions and answers.

It just goes to show you how the media in each country is used to control the national dialogue. People walk in lockstep in the most unthinking way possible. It's kinda scary, don't you think? Amazing too how so many of these "issues" are complete non-issues. That's because media is there to distract from real power and to maintain the status quo. Oh, and to sell advertisements.

This is the American site that you posed this question on. I too have noticed that a lot of UK "visitors" are pre-occupied with Muslims and bashing the USA. Most of us on this side of the "pond" ignore those questions when we see them.. Welcome to our site!
