fund raiser but the problem is they speak french i think everybody at the party is going to speak french since i live in paris, iam an american by the way, anyway i need help what should i do should i go or stay? i know ery little french!

I would go. English is pretty well heard around the world these days and it would be a great introduction into getting out of your comfort zone. You might even meet someone cute enough to be your tutor:-)
