I'm making a family tree in Spanish and have to describe my relatives, just wanna make sure I'm writing it correctly.
How do you say:
"My family is big/large."
"I like to have fun."
"She talks a lot."
"She loves to sing."
"She's really nice."
"He sings and cooks very well."
"He's caring."
"He's funny, but kind of a brat."
"They are deceased/dead."
"He is deceased/dead."
Also, when you say older half-sister is this right? Mi media hermana mayor or mi medio hermana mayor? Please correct me! Thank you!

A ella le encanta cantar (um, you wouldn't say "ella ama cantar" like someone before me put, you would only use the verb amar when talking about a person you love ex. "es obvio que tu mamá te ama mucha" "It's obvious that your mom loves you a lot" when talking about a thing you love you would use the verb "encantar")
"She's really nice."
Ella es muy simpática
"He sings and cooks very well."
él canta y cocina muy bien
"He's caring."
él es amable (I wasn't sure how to say "caring" so i put "kind" however saying "cuidando" would be caring as in I am caring or looking after my little brother)

And you're right, it'd be mi media hermana mayor, since "a" is feminine you would kick of the "o" ending of an adjective and replace it with an "a" when applying it to a girl. (If you were talking about your step brother it'd be "mi medio hermano mayor" but since you're talking about your step sis and that's feminine you'd say "mi media hermana mayor")

"I like to have fun": Me gusta divertirme.
"She talks a lot": Ella habla mucho.
"She loves to sing": A ella le encanta cantar.
"She's really nice": Ella es muy simpatica.
"He sings and cooks very well": El canta y cocina muy bien.
"He's caring": I can't find a translation for caring, so maybe just use nice again? That would be "El es simpatico."
"He's funny, but kind of a brat": El es chistoso, pero un poco molesto.
"They are dead": Ellos (or ellas if they're all female) estan muertos (or muertas if they're all female).
"He is dead": El esta muerto.
"My older half-sister": Mi media hermana mayor.

Half sister= media hermana, step-sister=hermanastra
PS you never use the verb "ser" with muerto in Spanish.
