I have toddler twins, that go through a horrendous amount of diapers and baby wipes. Do you think I would use less of the expensive name brand wipes because of their better quality? Or should I continue to buy store brand wipes(it seems I go through more of these, because they're thinner)?

I have used almost every wipe on the market and I have even made my own. Homemade work OK, and aren't terribly inexpensive or inconvenient, but I like the convenience of the pop up kind of wipes.

The cheapest way to go for me has been with Walmart brand (I think it's Parents Choice) or the Target brand. They are both comparable in quality and price. They aren't too thin, and they hold up well in messy situations.

I think Huggies wipes are the best. They are the thickest, but since they are more expensive than the store brands, I usually don't get them unless they are on sale AND I have a coupon.

We used both the name brand wipes and the store brand. We tryed the name brand because they were given to us and we bought a pack of the store brand to see if there was a difference. In quality we found no difference, in quantity the store brand had more wipe in the container, so it was worth it to buy the store brand. We also did the same with diapers and came to the conclusion that the store brand diapers were also better. The best store to ge the store brand wipes and diapers I have found is SAM'S Club. This is the brand we used to do our comparison. Found the diapers to be better than Huggies. If you do not have a SAM'S Club near you go to Walmart. They are own be the same company and their store brand products are exactly the same other than the name.

I think you'd be better off using a store brand, I use (Like a lot of others I've noticed) Wal-Marts, Parents Choice brand, They're just as thick as Huggies, The scented ones smell just as good..And they're WAY cheaper...$1.50 for a box, Compared to $3.00 for Huggies/Pampers...

Besides that, I disliked the Pampers wipes, 'cause they're SOOOOO thin, As are Luvs...I don't like changing poopy diapers, and feeling like my finger is going to poke through the wipe at any time and leave me with a poop covered finger! Lol...

I think it depends on the brand.. I started off using the more expensive ones but grew tired of basically throwing money away. You have to find a cheaper brand that works for you. Some cheapy brands are terrible and fall apart but others are just as good as the brand name ones.
I don't know if you have Meijer stores where you live but I use their brand and have no complaints..

The store brand wipes really are thin, I bought one pack of those and switched to Huggies wipes and those were awesome (thick) but expensive, then I switched to Parent's Choice...they look just like the Huggies wipes and are just as thick as Huggies but cheaper. I always buy Parent's Choice now.

There are some inexpensive wipes that are thicker. You just have to experiment and buy different brands until you find the ones you like. There are some expensive brands that are thin, too. So it's a tossup.

I use the store brand. Cheaper and seem to work well for me. I thought that the Luv's brand wipes were smaller then the Walmart brand that I buy.

For us the pampers are too thin(smell great though) the huggies are thick, but expensive. A good store brand is the Walmart brand parents choice they have scented(which I use) and unscented they are thick like the huggies, but a lot cheaper!

the store brand ones are no different than the name brand ones

i reccmmend either joining costco or sam's club or another bulk supplier

with twins you would definately save a ton of $$$ in wipes/diapers/food/etc and go through it - so the membership would be worthwhile
