and if so, should I have faith in a priest that only wants to touch me in my private areas??

Well if everyone really had faith in God and didn't use religion as an excuse for war then that would go a long way...
But, God does not intend you to put your faith in a priest who is abusing or wanting to abuse you. Report this man! He should be defrocked and locked up!
Put your faith in God not any man (or woman).

No there are sick people in all places, not just churches. I guess it feels like a worse betrayal because these people are meant to be representatives of god. I'm not a catholic but i am a christian, only became a christian when I had a real experience of Jesus. You only need to put your faith in Jesus, and he will show you the rest.

The sooner you get him reported the better. As for faith -it's a general belief in something -so why cant you believe in yourself. Especially as religion is one of the main causes of trouble.

not faith exactly but rather a lack of willingness to let everyone live their own lives the way they want to as long as they all respect the free will and rights of others to live the way they want to without violation of the laws rules and mores of the culture, society and country in which they live.

no. religion has caused most wars. so if everyone was an atheist or an agnostic there wouldn't be any wars. no wars, less world trouble in general.
