You say that Adam and Eve had freewill, but who designed their cognitive skills?

Its not about personalities, its the free will to do wht they want......God has given humen free will to do whtever they want after telling them wht is right n wht is wrong, n made humen to think n use their brain n act wht they want, He also told humen that He,ll help us whenwe we will ask for that and will guid us too.but He never compels us for anything, he just give us choices , n on that basis it is decided who ,ll go to heaven or hell. few disicions of life He has kept with Him like death, life, parents etc......but mostly we do by our own will. Humen develop their personality by themselves , its up to us whether we want to b positive or negative.......i m talking in general. well there must be some reason for Adam, Eve to act like that, which led humen to come to earth n live here.

Excellent question. It amazes me that even in the face of such logic, there are still some people who try and argue that God gave everyone a freewill. How can it be freewill when, A: God, by Biblical definition, knows everything that will ever happen in advance and, B: If you use your freewill to do something that isn't in accordance with God's Laws, you'll be banished to an eternity of hellfire and brimstone. It's bullshit, plain and simple.

With each passing day, I'm more and more convinced that religion is the biggest lie ever perpetuated in the history of mankind.

Adam and eve did not know any better, it does not matter that god said not to do it because they dont know what disobeying meant until they did. Its the same as a 2 year old baby and you tell that baby not to do something or he will be in trouble well the baby does not understand what that means until he does something wrong.

What risk? Supposedly, everything is according to a grand plan. Presumably, Adam and Eve's "fall" was part of it. If God is all-powerful and all-knowing, then by definition everything that has happened is according to his will.

If that is the case, then we are all merely puppets dancing on strings. From Adam and Eve to Hitler to Ghandi, no one can possibly have free will because they are always taking actions that God BY DEFINITION knew would happen.

Can a puppet be reasonably punished for doing exactly what the "plan" called for? Can Adolf Hitler be called "evil" if he is merely carrying out of a part of God's intentions? Can the deaths of 60 million people be called a tragedy if it's God's intention that it happen in the first place?

The Bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16]

So much for "free will".

Yes, and Adam was the personality type that blames his own actions on someone else. Eve being the only available person got the dishonor. How convienent, and women have been paying ever since.

BTW: I do not believe in the stories in the bible.

Peace.

you be responsive to, this would properly be a matching question to Einstein's maximum fun question to the medical community. Einstein reported he had to be responsive to if god had a option to create the universe. of direction, Einstein's definition of "god" differed from the uncomplicated definition (he believed that "god" became the balanced solidarity he observed interior the universe, no longer a being reminiscent of an previous white guy with a beard). yet nevertheless, the belief is comparable, and that's something to contemplate.

True, when He created them he know exactly what they were going to do; eat the apple

but, God does everything for a reason...The reason behind this is that he wanted to show us humans that whehn He created them He wanted us to live in Heaven forever, but since we are greedy and always looking for more, we led ourselves to living on earth...

Remember, Adam and Eve were only human, and not supernaturals

I think He built their character after "being human" not "perfect". He built them after his appearance, not after His personality, he expected mistakes to be made, so I would say He built their personalities because maybe He could see into the future and this mistake had to be made in order for us be here today, that's why we are all here with a choice to make, the infinite battle between right and wrong, good and evil :)

P.S. Abraxas as in related to Nostradamus? Did u read Valerio Evanghelisti's work?

If you believe in it, yes. So either god doesn't know the future, or if he did, he deliberately set them up to sin, and get cast out. And everything everyone does is already known, so there is no real point to it.
Luckily, I don't believe any of it, so I don't have to go crazy deciding if the chicken or the egg comes first.

True Love requires freewill.

God thus gave His angels and human creation the choice to choose real love.

He knew the risk, but true love does require a risk of self.
