I believe in soul mates, absolutely! Each one of us has a soul mate. There are actually different soul mates. There are spiritual soul mates that have spent past lives together. There are companion soul mates, these are people that help you throughout your life such as friends, teachers and mentors. Twin soul mates are those that you click with a close friend perhaps. Then there are twin flame soul mates. Someone that you have an incredible chemistry and attraction towards, they complete one another and suffer enormous pain when separated. This is my definition of a soul mate:
Someone that completes your soul, that is a part of your spirit. You don't just love this person, you share a true love, a real emotion that is so immense that it speaks to the essence of your entire being. Just like it says in a song, "They are a part of you, just as you are a part of them, though you are two different people, you are one."

I believe in the existence of 'soul mates' and I have met couples who obviously are. I don't know if everybody gets one however, contrary to what I've heard in urban legends about one being out there for everybody. I just think it sufficient to find someone who is compatible with all my quirks and idiosyncrasies and be satisfied with what I perceive as real love. Somebody who knows the 'worst thing about you' but it's still alright. After all ... it's a poor person who never gets to be loved in life.

Not really. Or else why would all these people who have found their "soul mate", be breaking up with or divorcing them. In order to have a successful marriage relationship, you gotta do it God's way.
