ongoing revolt against the Roman occupation of Judea?

I had always thought that when the Romans began to become Christians they needed to find a scapegoat to take the blame for their crucifying the man that was now becoming their god, and the Jews were the ideal people for the Romans to tranfer blame for the crucifiction to.

Yes.
I was under the impression that most Christians stopped doing that, but lately Muslims have been blaming Jews for killing Jesus in order to gain Christian sympathy and encourage anti semitism.

you should have faith that God put us here and he's all knowing.. that being said there isn't anyone to blame.. everything has happened just the way He planned.. all you have to do is uphold his Word by being a true Christian and don't worry what happens because if you know you are doing the right thing then everything will be ok no matter what! Have Faith!! :)

I believe not, they were a component in a pre-ordained history already set in time; it could have been any group of peoples, without scripting more hatred and fear then already existed; it was what it was and the promise of His return is assured.

I haven't a clue how that comes in but I believe people blame the Jews because they don't want to think that it was everyone's sins that killed Him.
