I am 26 and he is 40. I want to hit the clubs but all he want to do is watch sports. I need some advice. Please help me.

Why? All guys sit around and watch tv all day. If they don't it that much now, then they will do it later. Damn football is on.

Well why are you with and older man in the first place?how long have you been with him,acually determines to brake it off.If you have been with him for some time and if he is doing the same that he was doing when you got with him then you should have never takne to far I need some more resource on youR question,cause you are 26 and wanna go clubbing why dont you do something different to have fun in stead of going clubbing all the time maybe hes not the clubbing person and he is 40 yrs old he has a lready been there and done that and you just starting so I can't tell you to choose to dump him or choose to have a stronger relation with him ,cause its all how you feel about him if he is someone you wanna grow old with and settle with then you should try doing something that wil be fun for the two of ya'll ,or if he is just one of those men that you just have benifits and that 's it then I suggest that you move around and stop hurting you and him, Girl please go with your heart if you love this man ,or maybe you are just seeing things differnt and meeting new people so you wanna do things differnt .DID YOU GO CLUBBING WHEN YA FIRST GOT TOGETHER OR HAVE YOU JUST STARTED? I THINK YOU NEED TO SET DOWN AND TALK TO HIM FIRST AND THEN TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL AND SEE HOW HE FEELS ABOUT IT TOO AND THEN MAKE YOU DECISION ,CAUSE I CAN'T TELL YOU TO CUT IT OFF WITH HIM CAUSE I DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE SITUATION.SO " COMMUNICATION" IS VERY IMPORTANT .TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT!!!!!

Is that the kind of person you want in life ? A couch potato ? Dump him ! Give him the tv if his sports are more important to him then you. Go out and enjoy life, Your not getting any younger.

Hitting the clubs is not a good way to keep a mate, husband or b/f.
Hitting the clubs is looking for a new mate...
He is apparently happy and content in just being with you..
Organize some other activity for the two of you..
Stay away from the clubs..
They will be your downfall...

I don't think it has to do with his age, it's just you don't enjoy doing the same things. You can either sit and watch sports with him, or find someone that enjoys going out and having a good time. If it were me, I would pick the second.

The question goes beyond older and younger. Do you have sufficient in common and from your statements, apparently not. My girl is half my age (23 years younger) but we have a lot in common so it works out fine. We have a lot in contrast too and that just makes it better.

If I were you, I would look for some younger meat, you only live once so why not live life to the fullest. So dump him immediately and look for someone younger and more funner. TRUST ME!!!

May be he can fit in b*d only. Therefore, elders say that 'move within your own age group'. its your mistake you selected a mature one. Maturity is the same, what he is doing. Therefore, please compromise now with your selection and dont clomplaint.

im a dud, i rarely watch sports. so i hate duds like that. going to freakin sports bars uggh! leave him. if he doesnt want to have fun with you. screw him. go out with your friends. although once that happens thats when he steps in and wants you to not go out. dump him.
