I was in a long distance relationship for over a year...can they work? Well, now I sit only inches away from the man I will be spending my life with. In February we will be married. We began our relationship from 7000 miles away. Now I am with him. I came to be with him 6 months ago. I love him more now than ever before and I loved him intensely when we were apart! It can work...not easy by any means but it CAN work. We are living proof. We even got engaged from 7000 miles apart! It is worth all the effort...all of it. The best part was falling in love with the person and not just the physical appearance! I fell in love with his heart and spirit before coming face to face.

I've been in a few long distance relationships...They suck because your always missing them but it's nice because you don't see them every day...you have your "me" time.. I would advise that if you really want them to work out one of the two has to give in and move... All in all everything is worth a chance so if your really into the guy go for it!

The term 'relationship' is not used properly. As relationship means to be in relation or intact. But being at distance, how can one be in relation to another one except blood relations( as there has been some contact at an earlier stage).

They paintings each and every so often. i replace into in a protracted-distance courting for 6 months, and it replace into superb. yet therein lies an significant element: our courting labored by way of fact we knew on the tip of the six months we'd desire to be at the same time (i replace into reading out of the country and decrease back on the tip of the Spring semester). If there is no hazard of the couple ever coming decrease back at the same time, then you definately are appropriate. It has no hazard of determining. yet while they may well be at the same time returned sometime, then there is no reason they might't carry out till that day. they're going to easily might desire to install writing and speak to commonly. And Kentucky and Georgia at the instant are not that a techniques aside. they might desire to be waiting to circulate to one yet another as quickly as in awhile. finally it is your buddy's business enterprise no rely if or to not save on that courting, not yours. Your function would be to assist and inspire her. that's what pals are for! solid success!

I do. I'm in one right now and even though it is very difficult, I love him and I would do anything to keep him forever even if that means missing out on a few things in life. It's hard knowing that you can't see him or touch him but talking on the phone, writing letters and e-mails really helps and keeps us "together". Also looking forward to sharing your life with that person in the future also keeps us going.

I hear they can. but someone must move across the distance to complete a relationship. Other wise it is called pen pals.

they usually don't work out in the end. so I probably will never try them, unless the circumstances are that she is only far away temporarily (like she is visiting family for a couple of weeks then coming back) then I would do that. but if she lived far away I wont try it
